Twice weekly class open to Veterans, active duty, spouses, and dependants over 12 years old. Classes for people who qualify are FREE thanks to a generous donation by a private donor.

Class will be lead by Ceramic Artist and Director of the Veterans Art Project, Steven Macks Dilley.

Clay glazes and firings are included for Veterans, active duty, spouses, and dependents over 12 years old.

There are a limited number of slots open to the general public for a fee. Fee does not include clay.

Clay may be purchased at the center for $12.00 per 25-pound bag.

 

FAQs

 

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

To qualify for free attendance student must state they are either a U.S. Military Veteran, active duty, spouse, or dependent over 12 years of age.

This is a working ceramics studio and is not appropriate for small children during this class session.

 

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Plenty of free parking is available at the center. Street parking is also available.

 

What can I bring into the event?

Work clothes, apron, closed toes shoes. 

Pleasant attitude, willingness to meet new people. 

Ceramics is a hard, dirty discipline that is fun.

What's the refund policy?

Class Fees

Class fees are $350.00 for new students and $325.00 for continuing students. Your first bag of clay is free and all work produced during classes (up to 2,750 cubic inches) will be fired. Depending on the class you select, a beginner tool kit is required ( a tool kit and bucket are available for purchase 20.00) additional clay may be purchased at the Center. We accept cash, cards, and checks.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that a class is cancelled, students will have the option of transferring to another class or session, or having their fees refunded. A $35 processing fee will be charged for dropping a class before the day of the first class meeting. If a student attends the class and elects to drop, the tuition fees will NOT be refunded for any reason except documented medical emergencies. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Your printed ticket is your receipt and reserves your spot in the class. Bring it with you.

 

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, through event brite.

 

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?


Yes.

 

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes.
