THE ARTISTRY AND VETERINARY MEDICINE ART SHOW, 2008

LOCATION: Northern Trust Bank, Tanque Verde Branch, Tucson, Arizona

JUROR & JUDGE: Entries will be judged by Maurice Grossman, Professor Emeritus of Art from the University of Arizona

ELIGIBILITY: The show is open to Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Students only. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. All media accepted, entries must be original and produced by or under direction of the artist. Commercial kits, mass-produced, molds, pre-fabricated forms, imported goods are not eligible. Reproductions of an artist's original work may be exhibited and must be labeled as a reproduction or a limited edition reproduction. All artwork must be priced and for sale.

ENTRIES: Slides or digital images on disk (JPG or TIF) only. Selection of works to be accepted will be chosen from 2" x 2" mounted 35mm slides or on disk in JPG or TIF format. Only 1 slide or digital image should be submitted for each 2-dimensional work. A maximum of 3 slides or digital images may be submitted for 3-dimensional work.Each slide or disk must be labeled to indicate the top of the artwork. Maximum entry size is 48x60 inches. Any accepted artwork that differs from the slide or digital image will be disqualified.

FEES: A non-returnable fee of $10.00 for each entry must accompany the entry form. A check or money order should be made payable to: Artistry and Veterinary Medicine 2008.

SALES: All work submitted must be priced and for sale. A 25% commission will be taken on sales.

ENTRIES DEADLINE: Entries must be postmarked by August 1st, 2008.

SELECTION NOTIFICATION: All artists will be notified by mail. Two-dimensional entries must be suitably framed, wired for hanging and in stable condition. All art must be ready for display as appropriate to the medium. All decisions are final. Shipping instructions will be included with your notification of acceptance.

LIABILITY: Artistry and Veterinary Medicine will not be held responsible for any damage, loss, or deterioration of art while in transit to or from the show. Upon arrival, each piece will be unpacked and inspected for damage. While on the property, the Northern Trust Bank will be responsible for the exhibits.
